John Preston

John is an internationally renowned nuclear safety specialist with 25 years’ Probabilistic Safety Analysis experience in both civil and military nuclear powered applications. John has managed, and technically led, a large number of risk and reliability assessments around the world, as well as in the United Kingdom, providing support to commercial and government projects and installations. He has presented papers to a wide international audience and has acted as a technical advisor to government agencies, regulators and licensees on safety and systems design. John’s expertise and reputation enable him to serve as a Project Manager, Independent Technical Assessor, Peer Reviewer or Due Diligence Advisor for a broad range of nuclear safety applications. Currently, John is actively working on the advancement of Risk-Informed Decision Making.
