Marinos Panayiotou joins the CRA team in Gloucester

Marinos (or “Mano” as he prefers to be called) has joined Corporate Risk Associates as a Graduate Consultant. He has recently graduated with a Masters Degree in Materials with Nuclear Engineering from Imperial College London. The course included modules such as Nuclear Thermal Hydraulics, Reactor Physics and Nuclear Materials, providing an in-depth knowledge of the Nuclear industry. For his dissertation, Marinos investigated ceramic materials that have potential applications in Generation IV Reactors which are to be the next fleet of Nuclear Fission Reactors by 2030.

Mano has undertaken a work placement in ANSTO (Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation) investigating new materials that can provide high resistance to nuclear radiation and excellent mechanical and chemical properties, specifically for safe immobilisation of High Level Nuclear Waste.

Mano will be based in our Gloucester office.
