CRA sponsors 2014 Networking Lunch of NOF Energy

Corporate Risk Associates is striving to be the first choice for Risk Management services provided to the oil and gas and petro chemical industries.   In order to achieve our goal we recognise the importance of communicating our capabilities to our clients, both existing and potential.  We firmly believe in networking and ensuring that we do our best to reach out to new clients throughout the industry, by identifying potential opportunities.

As part of our company’s growth strategy, CRA recently sponsored and delivered a presentation at an NOF Energy Networking Lunch with Total E&P UK, which was held at the Hardwick Hall, County Durham on the 23rd January 2014.  The event was extremely popular, with over 190 delegates in attendance.  This seminar was a great opportunity for CRA to emphasize the importance of risk management in the oil and gas industry and, more importantly, it provided a platform to ensure that the industry knows who “we” are and what we can do together.

CRA strongly  believes that the oil and gas business is striving to be safer; however statistics demonstrate the complete opposite.  As the sponsor of the event, CRA took advantage of the opportunity to promote our business with a presentation to the NOF Energy members.  CRA Managing Director, Jasbir Sidhu, and Business Development Manager, Dave Gorringe, delivered an insightful and informative presentation that focussed on asking the question “are we getting safety right?”  A timeline of catastrophic accidents in the oil and gas industry was delivered, and a comparison for other industries was provided to stimulate thought; additionally. CRA was also able to promote the services we provide.  The presentation was received very positively by NOF members, who were able to identify many opportunities to work closely with our company and allow us to help enhance their business by recognising and supporting their individual needs.

This event provided an opportunity to build new relationships within the North East through the marketing exhibition.   Corporate Risk Associates understands the importance of our presence at such events as we aim to enhance our solid reputation for the work we do and ensure our potential new clients have a key insight into the work we carry out.  This event provided a huge opportunity to promote our company’s goals and also sent a strong message to the members of the NOF network that we are a well established and reputable risk and safety consultancy, who are keen to support the oil and gas industry.  Special thanks go to the north east based CRA marketing team, Laura Donnelley and Zhipan Wang, who supported the event.
