British Energy have recently awarded Corporate Risk Associates a fuel route PSA pilot study for the AGRs.  CRA are required to scope out the fuel route pilot study by developing certain fault conditions to international modern standards.

CRA was delighted to win this substantial piece of work against other bidding consultancies.  CRA were chosen due to their breadth and depth of experience in performing Probabilistic Safety Analyses and Human Factors Assessments across different operating modes for nuclear power plants.

The project will be managed by Gary Cairns who is based at CRA’s North West office at Birchwood Park.  The technical lead assigned to this high profile job is Dr Charles Shepherd who will be supported by other CRA SQEPs based at Warrington, Leatherhead and London offices.

On the announcement, CRA’s Managing Director Jasbir Sidhu said “this job reinforces the long-term working relationship CRA has with British Energy and this reflects well on our reputation of being a niche supplier of technical services in the marketplace due to the high standard of analysis being produced by CRA’s professional team.”
