Environmental Policy

CRA recognises that its business has an impact on the environment, principally through the use of energy and paper, and the recycling of office waste.  CRA is committed to ensuring that this impact is reduced wherever possible.  To satisfy this commitment, CRA operates an environmental management system based on the requirements of the international environmental management standard ISO 14001.

The CRA policy is to:

   •    Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and be alert to potential future changes in
        legislation or environmental standards;

   •    Regularly assess the environmental impact resulting from our business operations;

   •    Commit to preventing pollution by implementing the following strategies;

   •    Seek to ensure that the resources and materials used by our business are sustainable, are
        capable of being recycled and are used effectively with the minimum of waste;

   •    Utilise technologies, materials and processes which do not have an adverse impact on the
        environment;
   •    Provide environmental awareness and refresher training to all staff, including office based
        associates and temporary staff;

   •    Communicate changes in policy or procedures in a timely manner;
   •    Coordinate all environmental matters through a CRA management representative appointed by
        the Managing Director;

   •    Seek to ensure that our suppliers and contractors apply the same high environmental standards
        and objectives;

   •    Update and apply this policy to all our offices, wherever located.

The Board will, each year, consider the environmental performance of our business compared with our environmental objectives and targets.  Our aim is to continuously improve performance of the management system and to reduce environmental impacts to the lowest possible level.
The Company Safety, Health and Environmental Manager, Mr Jan Mirck, is responsible to the Managing Director for the overall implementation of the Company Environmental Policy.
